Perpetual Foreigners is a space for people who grew up across cultures. These guidelines exist to keep that space respectful, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
Treat others the way you'd want to be treated in an unfamiliar place. Disagreements happen, but personal attacks, insults, and condescension are not acceptable. Assume good intent when possible.
Do not send unwanted repeated messages, threats, or intimidating content. If someone asks you to stop contacting them, respect that boundary immediately.
Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
Do not impersonate other people, public figures, or organizations. Use your real identity and represent your background honestly.
Do not use the app to promote products, services, or external links. Do not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
Do not share sexually explicit, graphic, or violent content. Profile photos should be appropriate for all audiences. This is a community app, not a dating platform.
If someone makes you uncomfortable or violates these guidelines, you can block them or report them directly from their profile. Reports are reviewed by our team, and all reports are treated seriously.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We review each situation individually and act at our discretion. Severe violations, including threats or abuse, may result in immediate removal.
If you're unsure whether something is appropriate, or if you want to report a concern, contact us at support@perpetualforeigners.com.
